Versatile and engaging, Ariya Massoudi is a multi-AP Award winning broadcaster, whose warm and energetic personality shines on the camera. Ariya is experienced in Play-by-Play, Reporting, Hosting and Writing. He believes writing is the foundation of good story-telling and he began his career covering Florida State athletics for a number of print journalism outlets. Currently, Ariya calls Play-by-Play games for ESPN, ranging from a variety of sports. He is also the studio host of Florida State Football for Legends on the radio, as well as the host of Sunday Golds, a Florida State Baseball podcast covering the Seminoles on the diamond. Further, Ariya can be found calling a variety of sports and reporting on the sidelines on ESPN's ACC Network Extra at league schools. Ariya is a Dean's List graduate of Florida State University, with two degrees in Digital Media Production and Sports Management. He was raised by Iranian parents to love sports and culture from a young age and his competitive spirit and curiosity is a credit to the way he was brought up. You will find his ability to connect with a vast range of cultures separates him from the pack and his experience playing competitive soccer drives his work ethic and unique understanding of the struggles, journeys, and triumphs of athletes.
